Flight Software Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting Lockheed Martin's Orion Program in a full-time hybrid/remote capacity, the Flight Software Engineer will collaborate with a team of engineers to verify flight software for the Orion spacecraft, ensuring it meets mission requirements for NASA's Artemis missions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and software developers to verify flight software for the Orion spacecraft
• Own flight software requirements verification activities from initial requirements through final Run for Record
• Develop, execute, and analyze software verification tests to ensure compliance with program requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Previous software verification experience
• Advanced proficiency in Python, particularly for Software Test Engineering (SWTE)
• Working knowledge of Linux environments
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and ownership of technical tasks
