Job Summary

To support the Workers Compensation Claims team, the full-time Lost Time Claims Specialist II will manage coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and disposition of claims for Florida and Georgia, working remotely during business hours EST.

Key responsibilities
  • Proactively manage the case resolution process and participate in mediations within settlement authority limits
  • Investigate claims through various methods and communicate status updates to injured workers, clients, and brokers
  • Evaluate and resolve coverage issues while managing litigation processes and vendor expenses effectively
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience
  • At least 2 years of experience handling lost time claims in Workers' Compensation
  • Active Florida and Georgia Workers' Compensation Adjuster licenses strongly preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of law and insurance regulations in various jurisdictions
  • Experience with reserving and adjudication of Workers' Compensation lost time claims
