Florida Associate Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Underwriter to support the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering underwriting information on renewal and new business accounts
• Approve, modify, or decline transactions within assigned authority level
• Handle the renewal underwriting of less complex accounts based on authority levels

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two years of relevant commercial underwriting experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Knowledge of commercial property & casualty forms and coverages
• Familiarity with underwriting and loss control principles and concepts
