Florida Collaborative Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time Collaborative Physician will provide consultation and oversight for Nurse Practitioners through remote quality reviews and patient care discussions, ensuring compliance with state-specific collaboration requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a Collaborative Physician in accordance with applicable laws and NP Collaborative Practice Protocol Agreement
• Conduct periodic quality reviews of NP's patient charts, with a minimum chart review sample of 5%
• Be available for consultation with NPs via phone or electronic communication during operational hours

Required qualifications

• Successful completion of the Advantmed Credentialing process
• Current board certification
• Valid state medical, federal DEA, and Controlled and Dangerous Substances (CDS) licenses without sanctions in the state of California
