Florida Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager, Compliance & Controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP or SAP
• Oversee general ledger activities and lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Own audit processes and manage relationships with external tax advisors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in a regulated environment
• Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
