Job Summary

To support online education, the part-time Florida Licensed Adjunct Instructor will teach synchronous courses in Social and Behavioral Sciences, plan engaging instruction, and ensure compliance with college policies while working remotely from Florida.

Key responsibilities:

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams, focusing on maximizing student engagement
• Plan and organize instructional methods to meet diverse student needs and maintain accurate student records
• Stay current in the field through professional development and collaboration with colleagues

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree with at least 18 units in the subject being taught
• At least three years of experience in the respective field or two years of teaching experience
• Active certification in the subject area for Information Technology Instructors
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and learning technologies such as Canvas
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
