Florida Licensed Admissions Counselor

Job Summary

Leading a treatment team, the full-time Florida Licensed Admissions Counselor will conduct intake assessments, provide individual support, and ensure compliance with admission requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate individuals' appropriateness for the program
• Provide individual support, including crisis intervention and coordination with Care Navigators
• Manage compliance activities associated with member admission requirements and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Full licensure: LCSW, LPC, LMHC with the ability to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
• Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a substance use disorder (SUD) setting
• High comfort level with technology, including EMR and mobile applications
• Minimum two years of experience completing intakes in a SUD setting
