Job Summary
Leading the treatment team, the full-time Florida Licensed Admissions Counselor will conduct intake assessments, provide individual support, and ensure compliance with admission requirements while delivering high-quality counseling services.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct intake and clinical assessments to evaluate program appropriateness for individuals
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with outside parties and Care Navigators
- Document members' progress using the custom EMR system and ensure adherence to compliance activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Full licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMHC with willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
- Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a substance use disorder (SUD) setting
- High comfort level with technology, including EMR and mobile applications
- Ability to make objective clinical decisions reflecting the organization's recovery system and harm reduction philosophy
