Florida Licensed Alarm Technician

Job Summary

Holding the CMS state license for Florida, the full-time State License Qualifier will program and monitor alarm receiving hardware and computer equipment while providing technical support to ensure life safety communications are maintained effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Program and monitor computer and peripheral equipment for alarm communication systems
• Provide Level 1 technical support and informal training on hardware and software
• Troubleshoot and restore technical services and equipment to maintain operational uptime

Required qualifications

• Florida CMS state license for alarm monitoring
• Experience with alarm signal systems and technical support
• Knowledge of computer networking and peripheral equipment
• Ability to perform system maintenance on alarm receivers and servers
• Familiarity with troubleshooting processes and procedures
