Florida Licensed Alcohol Counselor

Job Summary

To support individuals in overcoming alcohol use, the part-time, remote Florida Licensed Alcohol Counselor will manage a caseload of members, facilitate coaching sessions, and collaborate with medical staff to develop personalized care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake
• Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video/phone calls and app-based communication
• Monitor health outcomes and coordinate care while providing evidence-based interventions

Required qualifications

• Certification as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, recognized by IC&RC
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• BA/BS and/or MA preferred
• Experience with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
