Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth initiative, the part-time Recovery Coach will provide education and coaching to Ria Health members, focusing on reducing or eliminating alcohol use through personalized care plans, video calls, and app-based communication in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate new members and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with medical staff
• Facilitate coaching sessions and monitor health outcomes while managing a caseload of members
• Document sessions in EMR and ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards

Required qualifications

• Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor or equivalent, with certification from IC&RC
• 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
• BA/BS and/or MA preferred, with a background in addiction treatment or chronic disease management
• Experience with EMR systems, Zoom conferencing, and app-based applications
• Knowledgeable in evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
