Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare environment, the full-time Florida Licensed Ambulatory Triage Nurse will manage high-volume patient calls, providing assessments and care coordination while working onsite initially and transitioning to a flexible remote arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Triages and assesses incoming urgent and non-emergent patient calls, acting as an extension of the provider
• Communicates and coordinates patient care with specialty providers, ensuring thorough documentation of all inquiries
• Serves as a clinical resource for new hires and assists with scheduling patient appointments as needed

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Three (3) years of clinical experience in the area of specialty
• Previous experience working with EPIC EMR required
• Current RN license in the State of Florida
• Current BLS certification
