Florida Licensed Appraisal Review Officer

Job Summary

To support the appraisal review process, the full-time Florida Licensed Appraisal Review Officer will facilitate the request and review of commercial real estate valuations remotely, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements while potentially serving as a voting member of the Executive Loan Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitates the appraisal process by ensuring reports are complete, accurate, and credible
• Mediates issues between internal stakeholders and valuation vendors to maintain impartiality
• Analyzes complex financial and legal documents to guide credit requests up to $10 million

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of three years' experience appraising commercial properties in Florida
• State Certified General Appraiser License required
• Familiarity with appraisal management platforms preferred
• Knowledge of local market trends and national real estate developments required
