Job Summary

To support the appraisal review process, the full-time Florida Licensed Appraisal Review Officer will facilitate the request and review of commercial real estate valuations remotely, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while mediating issues between stakeholders and valuation vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitates the appraisal process by ensuring reports are complete, accurate, and adhere to sound appraisal methodology
• Mediates and resolves issues between internal stakeholders and valuation vendors to maintain independence
• Analyzes complex financial and legal documents to provide guidance on credit requests up to $10 million

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of three years' experience appraising commercial properties in Florida
• State Certified General Appraiser License is required
• Familiarity with appraisal management platforms preferred
• Knowledge of local market trends and national real estate developments is essential
