Florida Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel - Practice Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on operational and regulatory matters to physicians, practice managers, and Regional Vice Presidents
• Draft, review, and negotiate operational contracts and manage commercial leases for clinics
• Oversee litigation and disputes, managing outside counsel and coordinating responses to licensing inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 6-8+ years of legal experience, preferably in a multistate healthcare services organization
• Strong foundation in employment law, operational contracting, and litigation management
• Experience advising healthcare operations is preferred
