Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Attorney specializing in Law & Motion and Appellate Advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss
• Manage appellate matters from start to finish, including research, briefing, and oral argument
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop defense strategies and collaborate with trial teams

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Florida, with eligibility for federal courts preferred
• 3-7+ years of experience in insurance defense, law and motion, or appellate practice
• Proven success in drafting and arguing dispositive motions and managing appellate cases
• Strong legal research skills and proficiency with platforms like Westlaw or LexisNexis
