Florida Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time Florida Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action, including extensive legal research and drafting of briefs and pleadings
• Regularly represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions, while preparing for trials
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver strategic legal advice and manage deadlines with independence

Required qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Florida; additional bar admissions are a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant practice area
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
