Job Summary
Representing institutional mortgage lenders and servicers in bankruptcy matters, the hybrid remote Florida Licensed Associate Attorney will focus on protecting secured-creditor rights in various bankruptcy chapters while providing comprehensive legal strategy and advice to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end legal strategy across bankruptcy cases, including proof of claim and motions for relief from stay
- Advise clients on complex bankruptcy and servicing issues to ensure compliance and maximize recoveries
- Attend hearings and mediations throughout the State of Florida, effectively managing a high volume of cases
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as an Attorney in the Bankruptcy field, with at least 1 year representing creditors in Florida Bankruptcy Courts
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in the Bar
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and a strong ability to utilize technology
- Ability to analyze case law and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and a motivated self-starter attitude
