Job Summary
Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time Florida Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while collaborating closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action, including extensive legal research and drafting of briefs, memos, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions, while managing trial preparation and expert witness collaboration
- Collaborate with partners and clients to deliver strategic legal advice, ensuring deadlines and assignments are managed independently
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Florida; additional bar admissions are a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense or general liability
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
