Florida Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Providing strategic legal guidance, the full-time remote Florida Licensed Associate General Counsel will advise on healthcare regulatory matters, corporate transactions, compliance initiatives, and risk management strategies while collaborating with organizational leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on healthcare regulatory, compliance, operational, and corporate matters
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts and business transactions
• Advise leadership on legal risks and develop practical, business-focused solutions

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Florida Bar membership preferred, or eligibility to obtain Florida Authorized House Counsel status
• Significant experience practicing healthcare law, preferably within a highly regulated healthcare environment
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory, compliance, contracting, and corporate legal matters
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel 4-6 times annually as needed
