Job Summary

Supporting Florida operations remotely, the part-time Florida Licensed Authorization Specialist will manage patient insurance authorizations, communicate with insurance carriers, and ensure timely documentation for optimal reimbursement during Eastern Time business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the patient insurance authorization process for clinical services
• Initiate communication with insurance carriers to obtain pre-certifications and authorizations
• Educate patients on their insurance coverage and payment options

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work Eastern Time business hours
