Florida Licensed Auto Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Owning a caseload of litigated auto claims from filing through resolution, the full-time Florida Licensed Auto Claims Adjuster will manage first-party PIP/Medpay litigation, third-party liability litigation, and UM/UIM litigation, focusing on complex claims with high exposure while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own a caseload of litigated auto liability and bodily injury claims from suit assignment through resolution
• Develop litigation strategies by reviewing initial complaints, amended actions, and evolving case facts
• Collaborate with defense counsel, claims counsel, and claims management on strategic planning and negotiation

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of auto claims adjusting experience
• 3+ years of auto injury claims and litigation experience
• Extensive experience handling claims in Florida, including knowledge of Florida's insurance code and PIP statute
• Active adjuster license in good standing
• Experience working directly for an insurance carrier in a fully remote, digital-first environment
