Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Florida Licensed Auto Underwriter will review new business applications, endorsements, and renewals to evaluate risk and ensure compliance with company guidelines while supporting profitable underwriting decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review new business applications and underwriting transactions to assess risk acceptability and policy eligibility
• Analyze underwriting information, including loss history and inspection findings, to make informed underwriting decisions
• Communicate underwriting decisions and documentation needs professionally and timely to agents, brokers, and internal teams

Required qualifications

• Florida 2-20 Property and Casualty General Lines License
• 3 or more years of experience in the Florida insurance industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, forms, and regulatory requirements
