Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter responsible for underwriting and marketing accounts throughout approved states/territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a profitable portfolio of accounts while developing new business and maintaining broker relationships
• Analyze financial risks of applicants and monitor loss ratios to ensure profitability
• Engage in marketing presentations and develop business plans to drive growth in the broker market

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an underwriter with a carrier, MGA/MGU, or broker side
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with brokers
• Knowledge of underwriting parameters and risk selection
• Experience in analyzing insurance applications and related data
• Willingness to engage in training for the right candidate
