Job Summary
To support claims processing, the full-time remote Florida Licensed Bodily Injury Adjuster will conduct investigations, evaluate bodily injury claims, and negotiate settlements while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and conducts investigations to analyze coverage, liability, and damages for bodily injury claims
- Completes evaluations and makes recommendations for claims, including determining the need for independent experts
- Maintains accurate records and updates claim statuses while communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency required; a 2-year degree in a related field is preferred
- At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
- A minimum of 2 years of auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience is preferred
- Must hold or be able to secure a Florida Adjuster's License within 60 days of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of insurance statutes and regulations
