Florida Licensed Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the remote contract Florida Licensed Business Analyst will manage stakeholder communications, facilitate JAD sessions, and document business requirements while collaborating with development teams and ensuring successful project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, contract managers, and development teams
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications
• Assist with system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and execution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT business analysis and Agile methodologies
• At least 5 years of manual and automation testing experience
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and technical documentation
• Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio and Azure DevOps
