Florida Licensed CAD Designer

Job Summary

To support fire alarm design projects, the part-time Florida Licensed CAD Designer will create system design drawings and submittal packages, conduct meetings to determine project scope, and manage completion documents, with remote work options available.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct meetings to determine scope of work for system design proposals
• Create system design drawings using FireCAD and develop detailed submittal packages
• Manage completion packages, including as-built drawings and other close-out documents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Aided Design or Autodesk Certified Expert
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD design
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems and related technologies
• Experience with FireCAD, REVIT, and related design software
• NICET certification is a plus
