Job Summary
Managing multiple priorities, the full-time Florida Licensed Cancer Registry Supervisor will oversee registry personnel, ensure timely and accurate data reporting, and maintain clinical expertise while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise registry personnel, monitor productivity, and provide performance feedback
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete data reporting in compliance with national clinical guidelines
- Participate in special projects to improve patient quality and outcomes while facilitating team communication
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in Healthcare or Health Information Management
- Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification
- 2+ years of abstracting experience in a CoC-approved cancer program
- 3+ years of direct experience as a certified tumor registrar
- Supervisory experience in cancer registry or a related field (preferred)
