Florida Licensed Case Manager Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Case Manager Assistant to support the Telephonic Nurse Case Management team in managing Workers' Compensation medical cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact injured workers, employers, and medical providers to verify and obtain initial claim information
• Obtain and track medical records, schedule appointments, and communicate work status updates
• Document case activity, manage diary tasks, and assist with triage and care direction

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical terminology and/or medical office experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Working knowledge of the Florida Workers' Compensation system and applicable statutes
• Strong data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience supporting Workers' Compensation case management preferred
