Job Summary
To support the claims processing team, the full-time Florida Licensed Casualty Specialist will conduct investigations to analyze coverage and determine liability, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate records while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct investigations to assess coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims
- Evaluate medical injury exposure and manage the payment process for claims
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding claim status and settlement demands
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2-year degree or higher in a related field is preferred
- At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
- Minimum of 2 years of auto liability claim handling or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience preferred
- Must hold or be able to secure an adjuster license within 60 days of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of insurance statutes and regulations
