Job Summary
Evaluating coverage and determining liability, the full-time Florida Licensed Casualty Specialist will conduct investigations, negotiate settlements, and manage claims processing in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and conducts investigations to analyze coverage, liability, and damages
- Evaluates policy coverage and communicates with insureds, claimants, and medical staff to assess claims
- Maintains accurate records and manages administrative responsibilities related to claims processing
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency; a 2-year degree or higher is preferred
- At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
- Minimum of 2 years of previous auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience preferred
- Must hold or be able to secure an adjuster license within 60 days of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
