Florida Licensed Casualty Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing claims team, the full-time Florida Licensed Casualty Specialist will conduct investigations, evaluate bodily injury claims, and negotiate settlements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and conducts investigations to analyze coverage and determine liability and damages
• Completes Bodily Injury Evaluation forms and recommends claim dispositions exceeding individual settlement authority
• Maintains accurate records and handles administrative responsibilities associated with processing and payment of claims

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required; a 2-year degree or higher in a related field is preferred
• At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
• A minimum of 2 years of previous auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience is preferred
• Must currently hold or have the ability to secure and maintain adjuster license(s) within 60 days of employment
• Knowledge of applicable insurance statutes, regulations, and case law
