Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner II.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of 150 or fewer workers' compensation files, including complex claims
  • Determine compensability of claims and administer benefits according to state law and company guidelines
  • Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims issues and maintain case documentation
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Three or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology
  • Ability to independently manage fairly complex claims
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel preferred
