Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - GL PL.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex general liability claims to determine benefits due and manage claims resolution
• Negotiate settlements and calculate reserves for claims while ensuring compliance with statutory limits
• Manage the litigation process and coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Active FL or NY license preferred; mandatory for the position
• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience required
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Experience with product liability is a plus but not required
