Florida Licensed Claims Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Injury Examiners, the full-time Florida Licensed Claims Manager will evaluate, negotiate, and settle insurance claims for members in the Tampa, FL area while driving operational improvements and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Inspects and reviews the quality of claim files, providing feedback and coaching to employees
• Identifies opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and member experiences
• Manages workload volumes and staffing needs to achieve optimal productivity and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• 6 years of progressive customer service or operational experience, including 2 years in claims handling
• 2 years of direct team lead, supervisory, or management experience
• Experience in data interpretation for decision-making
• Acquisition and maintenance of an applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months
