Florida Licensed Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a Florida Licensed Claims Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage commercial property claims, focusing on BOP policies, by preparing detailed reports, validating repair costs, and negotiating settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicate commercial property claims while communicating with various stakeholders involved in the claims process
• Review and evaluate claims for coverage and determine necessary claim handling procedures within statutory time frames
• Mentor junior claims representatives and provide technical guidance and support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, law, or a related field preferred
• 15+ years of experience in commercial claims, including 10+ years in residential property claims
• Strong contractual analysis skills for coverage analysis and risk transfer obligations
• Adjuster licensing required, with preference for Florida and/or Texas
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
