Florida Licensed Clinic Claims Coordinator

Job Summary

To support a growing clinic, the full-time Florida Licensed Clinic Claims Coordinator will review provider billing information, correct errors, and create accurate claims in Athena, while working remotely and collaborating with clinic teams and providers to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review provider billing information and ensure all required CPT and ICD-10 codes are present and accurate
• Contact clinic staff to obtain missing information and communicate billing issues to providers in a timely manner
• Provide regular reports to management on billing error trends and escalate provider education needs related to billing practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of medical billing and coding experience required
• Experience using Athena preferred
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding standards
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
