Florida Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

To enhance patient care, the part-time Florida Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will provide integrated support to patients and physicians, focusing on medication adherence and evidence-based care while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret patient care notes for prior authorization approvals and care plan recommendations
• Monitor ongoing patient adherence and evaluate therapies for side effects or medication-related issues
• Develop and refine clinical protocols to promote evidence-based, cost-effective care

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
• Active Florida pharmacist license
• 1+ years of experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology and local/state/federal pharmacy regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and database applications
