Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II Facility - Part Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract data from medical records into Epic and 3M 360 for case summaries
• Identify and code diagnoses and procedures according to ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines
• Ensure compliance with coding procedures mandated by government and payers

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient coding experience required
• Experience in multidisciplinary coding or provider E&M level of service coding preferred
• Coding certification such as CPC, CCS, or RHIT required
• Other relevant certifications from AAPC or AHIMA may be considered
