Florida Licensed Coding Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Florida Licensed Coding Analyst will manage clinical denials, optimize reimbursement processes, and ensure compliance with coding standards while analyzing denial trends and collaborating with various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages clinical denials from assigned work queues, including claim resubmissions and appeals
• Analyzes denial trends and develops recommendations to improve coding accuracy and documentation practices
• Educates departments on denial prevention strategies and collaborates with Managed Care and operational teams to resolve complex issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One of the following coding certifications required: CPC, COC, RHIT, RHIA, or CCS
• One to two years of coding experience required
• One to two years of denial management and/or insurance-related experience required
