Florida Licensed Coding Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Physician Group coding education and reimbursement specialist teams, the full-time Florida Licensed Coding Manager will oversee educational audit programs, develop provider education initiatives, and guide teams in coding education, denial appeals, and documentation improvement in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the LPG Coding Education and Reimbursement Specialist teams to ensure high-quality audits and denial prevention strategies
• Develop and maintain coding education programs, presentations, and training focused on documentation improvement and coding accuracy
• Analyze trends in coding errors and claim denials, implementing targeted education plans to address improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or a related field, or two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or project leadership experience
• Extensive knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and E/M documentation guidelines
• CPC Certified Professional Coder and CPMA Certified Professional Medical Auditor certifications required
