Florida Licensed Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Management Specialist - Coding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes to behavioral health claims and conduct audits for accuracy
• Correct coding errors and manage denied and rejected claims to improve cash collections
• Provide feedback and training to staff to prevent future coding-related denials and track denial trends

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
• 2+ years of experience in medical coding, preferably in mental or behavioral health
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding requirements
• Knowledge of commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare payer requirements
• Demonstrated ability to complete coding audits in compliance with regulatory guidelines
