Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, a Florida Licensed Collaborating Psychiatrist (MD or DO) will provide clinical guidance, conduct chart reviews, and oversee medication management for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners in a part-time, remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients using evidence-based approaches
- Conduct chart reviews and provide guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management
- Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally permitted
Required qualifications
- An active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills
- Experience providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care
