Florida Licensed Commercial Title Examiner

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Florida Licensed Commercial Title Examiner will conduct title searches and examinations for commercial properties, prepare title commitments and reports, and resolve title-related inquiries, with a strong preference for candidates who can work a hybrid schedule from Fort Myers, Naples, or Boca Raton, though fully remote arrangements may be considered for those with Florida transaction experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct title searches and examinations for commercial properties, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prepare title commitments, reports, and supporting documentation for basic to moderately complex orders
• Review and interpret chain of title documents, applying title underwriting standards to identify issues affecting title

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the title industry
• Strong understanding of commercial title examination practices, real estate law, and title insurance standards
• Familiarity with legal descriptions, mapping, and property locating techniques
• Proficiency with real property database systems and title search tools
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and chain of title information
