Florida Licensed Consulting Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support the launch of a new Psychiatry Service Line, a Florida Licensed Consulting Psychiatrist will develop clinical protocols and safety standards while treating patients experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and PMDD in a fully remote, contract-based role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clinical protocols for treating mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and PMDD, including medication management
• Allocate 50% of time to treating patients and provide supervision and case consultations for PMHNPs post-launch
• Design safety and escalation protocols for behavioral health and build a hiring rubric for PMHNP candidates

Required Qualifications

• Active board certification in Psychiatry through ABPN or AOBNP
• Unrestricted medical license in California, Florida, New York, or Texas
• Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical experience focusing on outpatient care
• Experience treating conditions at the intersection of hormonal and mental health
• Experience supervising or collaborating with psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs)
