Job Summary

To enhance patient financial services, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and coordinate with insurance companies while working remotely during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed
• Creates accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collects payments or establishes payment plans
• Contacts insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits, ensuring timely pre-authorizations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
