Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient financial services, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and manage communication with insurance companies, all while working remotely during varying shifts between 8 am and 8 pm EST.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as necessary
• Collect patient payments, establish payment plans, and register patients for services while ensuring accuracy in medical records
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, obtaining pre-authorizations within established timeframes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance benefits
