Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient financial services, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and manage communication between various departments while working remotely from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as necessary
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain pre-authorizations within established timeframes
• Register patients for services, ensuring accuracy and minimizing duplication of medical records

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
