Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient experiences, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create financial estimates, and coordinate insurance verifications while working remotely Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed
• Collect patient financial responsibility payments and establish payment plans while ensuring accurate patient registrations
• Manage communication between clinical, ancillary, and consumer access departments to improve overall patient service

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
