Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient financial services, the full-time Florida Licensed Consumer Access Specialist will perform Medicare compliance reviews, create patient financial estimates, and coordinate with insurance companies while working remotely from 12:00pm to 8:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed
• Create accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collect payments or establish payment plans
• Coordinate with utilization management staff for pre-authorization issues and ensure patients have necessary logistical information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Associate degree (Preferred)
• 1+ years of customer service experience (Preferred)
• 1+ years of relevant healthcare experience (Preferred)
• 1+ years of revenue cycle experience (Preferred)
